Soco Falls is a picturesque double waterfall within the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a well-maintained trail down to the initial viewing platform. From here you can view the larger of the two falls and catch a glimpse of the smaller falls if enough foliage has fallen. To get a closer view of Soco Falls entails a short (0.1 mile) but steep and slippery hike down. This trail is not as well maintained, but fellow waterfall chasers have tied ropes along the path to help make it safer.
